Petsec Energy West Cameron gas field resumes production
Posted: 3 November 2005
Petsec Energy’s West Cameron 343/352 gas field in the Gulf of Mexico , USA has recommenced gas production following the reopening of downstream sales pipelines which had been shut-in since 22 September due to damage from Hurricane Rita.
One well is flowing and a second well is expected to start flowing later this week.
The sales pipeline serving the West Cameron 343/252 gas field has begun taking production from the sales pipeline that services Vermilion 258. While Vermilion 258 remains shut-in, the return to production of 3-8 weeks announced in the September Quarterly Report may be shortened.
